I have the canon SX20IS, with a 20x zoom built in. I found this Zeikos 3.5X Telephoto Lens., does that give the lens a 70x zoom? Does it distort the image? What does it do?

Don't waste your time or money. You would be attaching something with poor optical quality to a lens that's already mass market so-so stuff. You'll have problems with auto focus and image quality is going to take a hit.
